Contest Rules
| The Winter 2010 Wake Up Celebrity Author book contest has issued a call for entries to recognize the book promoting skills of emerging authors. The contest will consider published, self-published and independently published non-fiction, fiction, business & investing, children’s books, teenage, how-to, self-improvement, health & spirituality, new age, Christian, poetry, science fiction, horror, photography/art, romance, biography/autobiography works and most other genres. |

PURPOSE: To challenge authors to attract more fans to their books. The publishing industry is changing and successful authors are learning how to connect directly with their target audience to sell more books. In essence, authors are becoming celebrities within their own networks. The Wake Up Celebrity Author book contest provides an interactive forum where fans select the winners. |

GRAND PRIZE: The book with the most votes will become a best-seller on one of the major online book sellers like Amazon.comTM and Barnes and Noble.comTM This Grand Prize is valued at $12,000 and is provided by our sponsor, Wake Up . . . Live The Life You Love group. The Wake Up Live group has placed over 20 books on the Barnes and Noble.comTM best-seller list. In addition, be sure to listen to Kurt Behm, winner of our 2009 Summer contest, talk about how valuable it is to be a best-seller. ENTRIES: Books can be in any language and published on any date. Once your entry form and payment is received, you will be guided on how to upload your book cover and create your book's profile. FESTIVAL RULES: Each entry must contain the official entry form, including your e-mail address and contact telephone number. We will accept submissions until March 15, 2010 and announce the winners on April 15, 2010. Voting ends March 31, 2010 which means authors who submit books on March 15, 2009 will have 16 days to get their votes in. While it is possible that an author with a large database could enter on March 15, 2010 and still win the contest, the earlier an author enters, the better his or her chances are of winning the contest. NOTIFICATION AND DEADLINES: We will notify authors and readers of important deadlines and other events via email as necessary. Winners will be announced on the Wake Up Celebrity Authors website and via direct email. TO ENTER: Click Here to submit your entry fee. Once payment is received, you will be instructed on how to upload your book information. Multiple submissions are permitted but each entry must be accompanied by a separate form and entry fee.
