$500 cash prize to the author who receives the second most votes. Winning the Celebrity Author contest takes a lot of work and you should be rewarded. You can do a lot of book promotion for $500.
$50 cash prize for the 3rd, 4th and 5th place finalists. While past authors have found the reviews to be one of the most rewarding benefits of the contest, a little extra money never hurts.

Not only will you be inviting all your fans and their friends to come vote for your book, we market the site to book lovers all over the world. As a social media-style book contest, we will be promoting our contest to readers with Facebook, Twitter, press releases and many other tools to drive as much traffic to the site as possible. In addiiton, fans who vote for one book often view other books and vote for those books as well.
Feedback on Your Book
Although the finalist is selected by the total number of votes he/she receives, your fans will rate what they think of your title and book cover and they can submit comments about your book. This feedback is valuable as you continue to promote your book. Authors from the Summer 2009 contest found the reviews their fans left were simply invaluable.

If your book is listed on Barnes and Noble.comTM and/or Amazon.comTM, we provide a direct link for your fans to buy your book. Some authors sold over 25 books directly from this site in the summer 09 competition. This is a great feature.
