A realization and quest of discovery of oneself and life, Jasmine Kang's River of Light is a debut book of poems, prose and artwork straight from the heart. Her writings, drawn variously from her experiences, upbringing and her deep contemplation of the world around her, are striking in their simplicity, yet rich in their scope and treatment. Here's a book you wouldn't want to miss. Here's a book that comes once in a while from a young author.

*Includes special tribute to Michael Jackson

if the language isn't deep, then the insight is too shallow. Too many mistakes in the video clip, the language from the preview seems too trivial to be taken into consideration; I personally don't think it could offer me something more than a Bollywood movie. I am sorry about this review, but in my heart I felt obliged to the general public to warn.

Jasmine is a profound writer, her poetry is beautiful. Her book is a precious jewel - there are not many words to describe just how great it is. I'm so blessed to have bought her book. I hope she continues to be published, the world needs her writings. Her poetry is different from others, it's refreshing like an everlasting spring!
