People suffering from faith-shattering issues, abuse, and neglect will find renewed faith in author Jonathan E. Ledin’s new book. In Power Up Yourself: Christian Principles for Living your Life to the Fullest, anyone will learn how to stop doubting God’s will for their lives. “Do you feel abandoned by God? Are you mad at Him? Do you blame God for things that happen in your life? Do you find yourself asking, “Where is God when I need Him most?” Has your faith been shattered?” Ledin tries to answer these questions and more in this book. Power Up Yourself is about eliminating spiritual negative self-talk. It’s about changing one’s thinking about God’s purpose for your life. Here, the author shares his own personal testimony in maintaining his shattered faith and how God helped him overcome numerous trials and tragedies in life. Readers will learn how to stop spiritual pouting, say goodbye to doubt and fear, embrace their life in Christ, walk the road less traveled, and soar above the mountains with each chapter of this spiritual self-help book. A meaningful message for these times we live: "to help people to discover the power within that takes away fears and doubt" , to hold on to our faith. Nice !

The Author asked that I review and rate his book so that he could win a Contest. Hmmmm, this book being on pain and suffering and finding God... I find it rather disgusting and immoral and sends the wrong message. First, I was planning on purchasing the book, reading it and reviewing... I think I will change my mind and will remove it from my Wish List at Amazon. This sounds more like Gambling to me and I MUST PASS!

God never promised us a rose garden here on earth. This book really tells it like it is. It encourages a Christian to get out there and live the life God intended. Excellent read.
